Hi guys,

I wanted to ask what is the best or a good radar detector in the market. and also if you suggest it and if it is really helpfull. I would appreciate any comments on this.

has anyone gotten a ticket using v1...it cost about 400 and im wondering if it is illegal??

 

it depends on where you at at. I am in cali and it is completley legal here.
its illegal to have a "jammer" but not a radar detector.

 

radar dectetors are illegal in SOME states..

I have the V1 and enjoy it! the arrows are pretty damn sweet! radar dectetors are legal in CA.

 

Valentine....i believe thats what its called its good...i have a ****ty one that i ahev from my old ****ty car so i need ot upgrade as well....

 

It seems like only in Virgina and Washington it is illigal. I was just reading a package about this and it mentioned that STI Driver is completely undetectable by radar detector dectors in case you live in such area.

But could some one comment on how useful these are?
So if you have one, you would "never" end up getting a speeding ticket if the police uses a radar gun?

not true! radar dectotors can do so much but it all depends on how you drive.. If you drive all crazy and you're looking for a radar dectetor to save ur a$$ then this ain't for you lol

the V1 is just to warn you of police units trying to catch you with their radar... It's no good if they don't have their radar on... but that goes to all dectetors anyway...
