I've been researching a lot on the G35, but had one question. I haven't bought my G 35 coupe yet, but am going to soon.

My only question is, should I get the premium package or not? I am not getting the navigation package since I don't think it's worth the 2k. I would rather get the Pioneer Avic-Z1. Since I am getting that, there isn't a need to get the Premium package is there? I do like having the 8 speakers and the auto dimming rear view mirror, but I can get that after-market right?

skip the prem and jus add the sunroof...the prem bose sys sucks anyways,

If you're going to also upgrade the speakers, definately skip the premium.

 

With the premium you get things like the homelink, amd auto lamps. They may not seem that exciting if you haven't had them before, but they're one of most useful options you can get. I use all of them every day. Sure you can try to add homelink, or the sunroof separately, but after you add it all up you might as well just negotiate a better deal on the whole premium package. You also get Bluetooth and memory driver's seat and intellikey. You also get the dual climate control, which is nice when you have company. Keep in mind you can sell the Bluetooth and bose unit on ebay for some money if you pull it out.

The dealer often will hassle you because a sunroof with the premium package is pretty much special order only and most places will give you much less of a break on the price when you can't find a car they have in inventory.

The Bose is really a small part of the premium package when you add it all up.

 

The driver's seat would be useful, and the homelink is practically useless to me. No home right now, so kinda don't even need it.

Auto-headlights, yes I love the idea of it, but that's it? I dont know yet. I'm going to have to see what they have in stock and go from there.

I'm having issues trying to get the 3.95% finance rate right now. Dont know what to do.
