Hi, guys and gals new member here from Virginia.

Anyways I just picked up a 04 g35 sedan with premium package for $3k. 88k miles runs great. I look forward to learning more about my car in the future. No plans as of yet, besides tint, and regular maintenance, but my ideas always change.

Photo was stolen from the dealers website, havent had the chance to grab any myself

$3K really?!?! That's a new low to me for a G that's running well, and only 88K miles to boot. If there are no hidden issues, that's the deal of the decade.

...that price doesn't throw any red flags out.
Probably a salvage title from an accident or water damage....so check the underside for rust or bent frames.

It's not salvaged, its clean. No water damage and no underside damage. Locally owned. Clean carfax and auto check. The dealer is a close friend of a family member. Also that family member is the dealers personal mechanic. You can't always knock a great deal/steal. IV been around dealers my whole life, I can work a deal or two

Oh well that explains it. This is not a dealer sale. It is not a private sale. It is a whale of a sale if it's not a fish story.

Sounds about right.

Good deal either way but YOU got that price. Anyone off the street wouldn't have gotten that deal so that makes it a private sale. That's almost as good as my deal but I got mines for free (or trade whichever suits your fancy) lol

Welcome to the G life

Chill, grasshopper. Whale...fish...smiley: joke. Bad joke. To paraphrase Geico, "It's what I do." You are supposed to groan, not take umbrage. If I were calling you a liar, it would have looked something like this: "You are a liar."

No criticism intended. I'm glad, nay jealous, you could get an awesome auto for so few coin.

Beware the pun if you are a literalist.

I meant nothing by it. It just seemed like I was being called a liar. But yes it was a great deal and i could let it go by. I did get it like a private sale, no dealer paperwork besides the tags, as dmv was closed, I had to fill out the papers for temp tags. I am very pleased with my purchase though.

Now on to other items where are guys getting dash kits for less than $200? Can they be bought for under that?
