03-04 Proclip installation issues

I just received the passenger side proclip for my '04, and I can no longer open the ashtray. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem, and if there were slight modifications done to fix this. Thanks.

I assume you have tried shifting it around, up/down? I don't have any problem with my ProClip in my 2004. I also did not remove the adhesive tape, so the fit is friction only - seems to work fine.

Yeah I tried moving it up and down, no luck. When its too far down the Hazard button gets stuck.

yes this happened with me too. I ordered both sides, and only kept the drivers side installed. I didn't like how the passenger side made the ashtray nonfunctional (that's where I keep my nano).
