nav screen and polarized shades

I am *hopefully* going to become a G owner pretty soon and I was just curious about the nav screen. I searched but didnt find my answer, but if you are wearing polarized sunglasses, is the nav LCD still easy to see? i know a lot of LCD's are very hard to see through a polarized lens unless you **** your head sideways..... but what about the G's?

thanks

It is polarised. I have a pair of RayBans which you have to tilt 45 degrees to either blank out the screen or have it at brightest. I reverted to my Serengetti drivers - better lenses and coatings anyway.

I have perscription Maui Jim Hoku's with the fancy polarized lenses and my 2006 oem nav is fine. If I tilt my head it will fade but normal straight on reading is fine and plenty bright.

I said it works fine. You wont have issues unless you drive with your head tilted way over.

I got my Oakley's rolling with me and have never had a problem. I look at some windshields when they are on and those spots sure look funny. But again no issues with the Navi.
