Quick question for all Eclipse HU owners.

I have an Eclipse AVN7000 on the way. I'm compiling units to add this unit to my car (i.e. iPod adapter, rear-view camera, etc.). I was wondering if there was something that you needed to do to allow for in car use while in motion?

I know for Pioneer, there is the bypass wire and also plugging the parking brake wire to the ground wire. Is it the same for Eclipse HUs?

Also, is there a website specifically designed for discussing Eclipse products?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

wassup david,

as newer models come out, manufacturers continue to add "safety" features. i can tell you my eclipse 5495 only required the parking wire to be grounded. not sure about future models.

can't help you with the website.

Thanks for the reply Vinh.

So does anybody know any AVN7000 specific info? If not, I'll try the usual wire parking brake to ground wire
