Hey people,
Has anyone had a problem with their dashboard and nav unit shutting down after your car started?
It's happend to me a couple times within the last couple weeks. I had a dvd/tv tuner box installed but that shouldn't have anything to do with it. I restart the car and it's ok again.
Should I take it into the dealership and have them look at it?
I don't want them to go...oh because u have a dvd/tv tuner box installed that's not factory, their's nothing we can do about it.
Any ides what it can be?

a) what do you mean "just shut down"? The screen goes black?
b) are you 100% sure it's not the avelectronic box? What if the switcher is bad? What if the screen connection or power is bad? Some of these things would be restored with a restart...

It only happense in the morning.
If it happens again I think I might unplug the battery and replug it to see if that'll correct the problem.
I hope it's not the AVElectronic Box.
The shop that installed it for me went out of business.
