Installing BT Car Kit - HELP ASAP!
I have not personally used or installed a bluetooth car kit, but a customer needs to know if anyone has any idea about installation time. They should be fairly similar in times, but just in case the unit in question is the Motorola HF850. Any help is appreciated!

Depends on how integrated you want. I think the 850 comes with its own speaker, so the only thing you're tapping into is power and ground. Add connections for the control unit, one for the mic, one for the brain, and you're done. I'd really put the amount of time against your intended source for power - if you're ok with the cig lighter circuit, you're taking off two panels and the console trim piece, shouldn't be more than a couple hours.
If you want to pursue the stereo-mute or integrate with the car's sound system, add plenty of time for additional wiring and trouble-shooting.
