I'll try adding to this post even though it's pretty old. Well I tried the suggestion and it didn't work for me. =( I turn the car on, the CD player immediately starts making noise so I hold the eject button. The Eject All option comes on but nothing happens. I try sticking another CD in there but it doesn't seem to be touching another CD. Maybe my car is too old? I have the first G35 from way back in 03... the one with a handle on the trunk =| so I dunno if you fellas have newer versions. It's not the Bose version either. I actually took a pic to show how the extra "poker" CD doesn't penetrate very much. http://twitpic.com/julkt Help?!

I tried the CD poker method and managed to get my stuck navigation DVD out, but still no luck getting the CDs out of the changer.

So I guess it's a partial victory, but in the end... I still lose.

Unless I missed something, that solution was for losing an audio channel, not the mechanical error here.

The dreaded "CD Err F0" has claimed another victim

I clicked 1 to changed from disc 2 to 1 and it happend.
I guess the CD got stuck or something now it makes a grinding noise and give me the error.

After messing around with it a bit and trying the stuff mentioned here now the damn thing doesnt do anything at all, no noise no anything. Gonna try unplugging the battery as a last resort, this sucks

There's no such fix

That link was for something else, not for the cd err f0 issue

Ah, dang. The G35 I got today has the cd err f0 (but the seller did tell me about the issue before-hand).

Thanks for the info though!

Time to figure out a way to get an ipod AUX or double din screen.

just go for the double din screen bro... Youre gonna spend over $100 trying to put an ipod aux unless you go with the cassette version

After 9 years of ownership CD ERROR FO finally hit me. I spent a lot of time researching for a fix unfortunately there was none. Luckily I found an electrical engineer who knew how to repair and update the IC boards. Cost me 1/3 what the dealer quoted me and installed it for me under an hour. Everything is peachy again. If you are having this issue PM me and I'll give you guys the contact info for the service personnel.

Well, that'll fix one of the six major problems with these radios. Cross you fingers that you don't get another one in a few months.

Remove all the discs, and start saving for a replacement headunit.
