I am getting a 10' JL w3v3 put in my coupe with a JL 250/1 amp and I was wondering where to place the amp. I don't want to put it on the back wall in the truck becuase I place duffle bags in my car alot and I dont want to place any weight on the amp.

I was wondering if you could put it by the spare tire on the drive side where the stock HU amp is, but when i checked that area out it seemed to trap alot of heat.

Would the heat mess up the amp?

Does anyone know of a better place to mount the amp?

 

i had my jl amp mounted to the rear seat its out of the way and i had carpet of the same color cut and that hides the wires running to the amp kinda makes the amp look floating
