LOC behind factory bose unit

anyone successfully put an LOC (LOCB.2 in my case) directly behind an 06 bose factory head unit? I am not talking about in the trunk but directly behind the unit. I have done searches and I know the wire colors but I am not having success getting a signal from the wires I am tapping into. I had it in the trunk but noise was a problem so I want to try it as close to the head unit as possible.

also, where are you guys grounding behind the radio? I didnt see any good spots.

nevermind, i answered my own question (with the help of multimeter).

turns out i had the wrong harness. i was using the lower drivers side harness which has the same wire colors as the upper right. i needed the upper right not the lower left. noise has now been eliminated.
