Please help..Instrument cluster and interior lights not dimming anymore..

Can someone please help me, hopefully this is something pretty simple but I have a 2004 G35 Sedan and the instrument panel is not dimming anymore via the rotary **** to the left of the steering wheel.

The lights turn on, and everything seems to be working with the exception of the interior lights not being able to turn the intensity down (It's on full blast as if I had locked it in the **** up position). The head lights are on, so it's not because the headlights are off.

Is there a fuse someplace, or a fusible link someplace that I might be able to check? This is strange because the lights are on, so if a fusble link or a fuse blew I would have thought that there would be no lights on the instrument panel on at all.

Thanks for any and all assistance that anyone might be able to provide.

sounds like the pot is stuck fully open? either take it to the dealer or try to examine the switch yourself.

Any tips on how I can examine the switch myself?? I can pull the switch out, but upon examining the switch I see three terminals on it. Which ones should I connect the Voltmeter/Ohmmeter to, and what setting would be best to you to check out the switch. I assume I would set it to the Ohm setting200k, or 200?), and would plug the terminals on the meter to the switch and move it up and down and I should see (or not see if the switch is bad) the resistance changing?

Please excuse the ignorance in regards to the electrical testing That is definetly not my strong suite, but definetly willing to learn.

OK I think the switch is bad, does anyone have a part number for this switch? Is this a common item between Infiniti & Nissan (ie. can I go to the Nissan dealership up and pick up the switch??)

Thanks
