Anyways i picked up my car today from B, he told me he had posted the pics up on the forums but not to look at it. haha. i was so tempted to but didnt.
Well lets see where to start?

The sound...well i had orginally installed these up6's w/ the ra40 tapping from the bose unit before the bose amp. Needless to say, i wasnt too impressed. The system in my old civic sounded much better. Also, the gains on the amp were way up and it wasnt even THAT loud, the bose sys was louder! maybe it was the quality of my install?? Anyways so then i needed Bing to save me. haha.

Ordered all the stuff and waited friggin 7 wks or so until he had space!
Anwayys the system overall sounds nice. For the price of these speakers, i am very impressed, of course it doesnt sound like B's nobeliums! haha but hey, i was on a budget! Although i dont know how it woulda sounded in the doors, the speakeres in the kicks sound nice and clean. One good thing is that the door has even less of a chance to rattle....but we put some dampening in there just in case.

Seriously, altho the speakers are mounted near the foot, the sound is around dash board level. If you closed your eyes, you wouldnt be able to tell that the speakers were mounted that low. One thing i needa get use to now is not having the foot rest. We'll c how long it takes to adjust since i have no room to put my foot when its off the clutch..

Anyways, another satisifed cusotmer.
ps. you know how the up6's come w/ those ugly grills!!? I kindly asked him if he could do somehting about them, and waala! thanks.

Thanks man. it was ME though not CA&E. I was going to redo the door panels and have CA&E feature it but I got too lazy.

I think I'm going to go with a 6.5" component set and 2 10s for the G. Although I still need to look into the kick panels. I have an 06 AT (at Vortech right now) is there room for 5.25" in the kicks on the Auto?

well...that depends on how much you are willing to put in to build the kicks, and how big the 5.25 is...conceivably, if you relocate some wires behind the kick, you cna build a VERY low profile kick panel so it clears the brake, but you problably have to go with off axis mounting. if you extend the factory kick and have it come all the way down to the floor and then mold, you can probably get any speaker to go in since it will now sit lower on the floor and clear the brake

but someone with your abilities, shouldnt be a problem

16psibrik,

I am going to order this: Will this fit on to the OEM doors with the spacer? Will the tweeter fit? Thanks.
