Interesting V1 Install

What do you all think about installing the V1 remote flush with the gauges right where the red box is...

I am going to call Jayson on monday, and grubbs to find out the price for an extra gauge display that i could cut into...

How hard do you all think this install would be... if i couldn't do it myself, which i prob won't, can local audio, etc. shops in miami do it for me!

Peace
-Eric

Isn't that where the turn signals are? I've been looking for a new spot for mine. I'm looking into the spot below the tach. Not an option for the 5AT though. Keep us posted on what you find out.

Re: Interesting V1 Install

Get a K40 and install the Led's in the gage cluster. Sensors for the front and rear mount behind the bumpers so there is no box dangling from your windshield. Best detector I have tried......(had a V1 in the past).

04 G35 Cp 6MT - TB 19" Iforged Aero's 245/35/19 & 285/35/19, Borla headers & Exhaust, Test Pipes, Eibachs, Nismo Sway bars, Prochager purhcased to be installed as soon as it gets here!!

Re: Interesting V1 Install

Looking at the K40 myself, since I now have metallic tint all the way around. What's the pricing to get the dual cluster unit and the custom install? Any suggestions for the L.A. or Orange county areas?

'03 Sedan 5a: Silver/Graphite, Premium, Aero/Body, Sport, Nav
SolarGard Quant. Tint 19% r, 28% fr, & just a tad more than 4" of 50% on the windshield

Re: Interesting V1 Install

Last one I had installed was about $700 plus about 5 hours install time. Time will vary depending on where you have the LED's mounted. Well worth it though!
