I have jl 300/2 and 500/1 and was wondering witch amp kit I should go with either JL XA-PCS2-2 2gauge kit(2 AWG 12-Volt Power Connection System for Two Amplifiers, 700W to 1400W, 20 ft. red 2 AWG power wire, 10 ft. red 4 AWG power wire, 10 ft. black 4 AWG power wire) or JL XA-PCS4-2 4gauge kit(4 AWG 12-Volt Power Connection System for Two Amplifiers, 300W to 700W, 30 ft. red 4 AWG power wire, 10 ft. red 8 AWG power wire, 10 ft. black 4 AWG power wire). I would use the 4 gauge one. Easier to work with and capable of powering the amps you are discussing.

 

4ga is more than enough
