any1 with instructions to replace the stock tweeter?

 

I just got the POLKs today. I was wondering if you guys think it would be a good idea to attatch the eliptical cover to direct the sound towards the passenger compartment vs straight toward the dash. I still want to use the stock location, but it is hard to tell if using it will direct the sound into the door vs. into the car.

i didnt use the sound direction thingys but it might help i dont really know i think it would not make any difference. also i dont know if they will fit behin the grill

 

DragonCCoupe: First I changed caps on the Bose Tweeters...some improvement. Then I swapped them out for Alpine spx 177a tweeters. This set sounds very good.

I hooked up the 6.5 and the tweeter to the tweeter line via the included crossover.

You can use any 4 ohm tweeter that fits in the space. It doesn't have to be the Polk.

I changed the tweeters with some Bostons, and I didnt think there was much of an improvement. I believe to get clarity, the amps must be changed.
