stock navi

Has anyone installed or got it installed from somewhere a stock navi in a non navi 04 sedan? Someone I know wants to sell the stock navi from a wrecked 04 sedan so I was wondering if its possible for me to get it installed in mine.

I think there's been two people who have done it. Its possible, but its way too much trouble. There's no instuctions and there's alot of wiring you would have to guess. Think of the entire dash of your car in peices for a week and lots of "wtf does this go?" Its much easier and cheaper to install a carputer or a double-din aftermarket navi...

Definately possible, I did it to mine last week. First make sure the wiring harness from the navi unit is complete, then you will need to tie in a few wires that your car was not equipted with. If you have the vehicle's electronic repair manual on disc and can read wire schematics, its not that hard.
