I would like to do some turbo or something to my stock 08, but i dont really want to put the money into getting alluminum parts. so what can i do to make it faster, without having to spend a **** load of money?

 

There are a lot of threads out there already about this. Between intake, pulleys, new catalytic converters, exhaust and tuning you can can free up some HP. Once you search around the forum you'll find more info than you need. Additionally, you can supercharge the engine without rebuilding the internals if that's your concern. Just don't use a high boost pulley if you're worried. The stock engine/tranny can handle a good amount of power.

 

Stock internals can handle 1000+whp I suggest a TT kit feeding a supercharger kit but you'll need two intercoolers.

 

Getting a new intake and free flowing exhaust is an easy way to gain some hp.
