You could probably squeeze a 6.5" in there.

I do believe Savv makes a 7"+ drop-in headrest. (Drop-in means it replaces your factory head rest so you don't have to do any cutting to the original leather).
P.S.
For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.

Well I'd rather keep the factory headreast... I know the sedan's headreast are a little smaller that the coupes.. does anyone know what would fit the sedans head reast..?
Re: what size headreast fit in the G..?
I'm putting 5" Accelevision monitors in my sedan. Just about done with the first, so I'm not quite ready to post pictures. But I can point out a few things.
-These headrest SU** for mounting monitors. That did not stop me though.
-I doubt you can use much bigger than a 5" monitor. Maybe 6" if it's really shallow.
-The headrests slope forward sharply. Terrible viewing angle, especially for children. The Accelevision monitors tilt down 15 degrees, which helps this considerably.
-The headrest struts are pretty close together, even a 5" won't fit between them. Because of the tilt feature, the Accelevision moniotors need a full 1" below the surface. These headrests will not give you quite that. When I mounted them, the shroud wasn't quite extending down to the finished back surface. Two choices I saw: A] Make a custom fiberglass shroud a little deeper than the one that came with the monitors. B] Add upholstry stuffing under the vinyl around the edge of the shroud to bring the surface up to the monitor. I chose option B, but it's definately not a perfect solution, the back of the headrest around the monitor looks a bit puffy. But it works.

Instead of trying to fit the housing between the posts why not trim the housing to go over the posts? I guess with the swivel types that might be a prob.

When I did my install I did go over the posts. But the Sedan headrests are VERY different than your coupe's. The limiting factor is not really the posts as it is the curved edges of the headrests.
