Battery Terminal Fitment

I currently have a Duralast Gold battery I'm using on my coupe, but the terminal isn't as "secure" as I'd like it to be (the Duralast terminal is a little skinnier than the OEM terminal). So, I basically just wrapped some aluminum foil around the terminal to make it somewhat thicker. Is this a good way of going about this? Or, is there something a little more "professional?" Thanks!

Change the end of the cable, the terminal, or just get a new cable. Get a good copper or plated one. Do not use aluminum foil as a filler, it will compress and loosen over time and cause you more grief.

Aluminum is no good. It is not a good conductor of electricity. Def get a better terminal clamp.

Take a pair of pliers and squeeze the SOB a bit to make it oblong... It worked for me
