Anyone ever lost sound on one whole side?

I had this same exact problem in my 04 sedan. The Dealer had to replace the Head unit. Hasn't happened since.

Yeah, I lost the sound when I hit a little bump on the highway.
I didn't think of changing the source (i.e. SAT, FM, etc.)...
I attributed the problem to the amp, didn't think it was a source problem (CD).
the thing is that this is already the second head unit. The first one was replaced after it started skipping on CDs.
I love the car, it looks awesome, drives great, but the fcking thing has $hitty electronics.

Had it happen to me a few times.. Did it only happen when you were in CD mode? And worked in AM/FM mode? This is what happened to mine, and the dealership had to replace the headunit. It was caused by a lose faulty output connection. The Clarion headunits suck. I've had the headunit replaced 3 times for the same problem.

I've scheduled a service appt. to have the headunit replaced - this will be the third headunit for me.
