Sound System Upgrade

Hey guys,
I'm interested in upgrading my sound system in my car and I need some info. I have a 2004 coupe with the bose. I went to a stereo shop this past weekend and they told me there's no kit available for my coupe. How are you guys switching to aftermarket systems? I'm just interested in maybe having a 10" woofer, new components and an amp installed along with a new head unit. Do you recommend I upgrade the door speakers also? The shop was trying to persuade me to go with two amps. One for the components and another for the woofer but I would like to keep my cost down. Is an amp necessary for the components? Where can I find a kit for my coupe? Do I need to run new speaker wires or is the existing wires good enough? The shop gave me a quote for Diamond speakers, amps and woofers. Never heard of this brand but I'm no audio buff. Is this a good brand? I'm located in Phoenix so if anyone have any referrals to a shop that would be great.

Wow. You have alot of questions. All of which have been answered within this forum. I would suggest using the search feature. Some of your questions are answered in the sticky entitled "Upgrading sound system and keeping stock HU" I am also not sure what you mean by "kit". For a HU, or to install everything? Nevermind, just search. It's all in here.

chaging your search options from "natural" to "boolean" will yield better results
