alarm system upgrade

I've been enjoying life the way its supposed to be for 2 weeks or 567miles now since I bought my G35 coupe. I was missing out big time with my old '90 civic dx. Im little concern about security, since the alarm that it comes with is so basic. I've been researching a couple places and I still cant believe that a decent alarm system will cost me around 1k!! I need advice...
I got really impressed with the features of the Clifford G4 Series but I'm afraid of messing up the neat things that the G already has.
Also, does anyone know what kind of tint will look good on my car without getting in trouble with the cops?
Any advice is always apreciated...

Woah there, buddy- you can get a good after-market alarm for under $500. Who have you been talking to? As for tint-- what state do you live in? That's what stipulates what you can do...

If you live in Oakland, head over to Audiomobile. They carry Prestige, DEI, and Clifford. If you're interested in security, I recommend going w/ Prestige's 996 pager alarm.

As for window tint.........give us a call over at Mach III in San Francisco. We are one of the few dealers in the Bay Area to carry Madico film backed by a lifetime warranty on bubbling, peeling, and discoloration. Our number's 415-594-0030
