My navigation system has been acting up a lot lately. I will of course take it to the dealer soon (thank you warranty!) but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem:

Sometimes when I start up the car, and press "I Agree", it will say "Please wait", and it will get stuck on that screen forever until I shut the car off and restart it. It's like it hangs or freezes on bootup. Then, sometimes it will try to get to the map screen, but it's all black with just the satellite icon, and a few other things, but most of the map is missing.

It did it once or twice before, and chalked it up to a glitch. But now it's doing it about 50% of the time.

The dealership will have a "firmware" upgrade for it. It changes some glitches in the operating software so that won't happen anymore [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] If that doesn't work, you're in the market for a new DVD... see what the dealership will do about that. Good luck with it!

That happened to me once and after about 5 minutes I ejected the disc, re-inserted and it came up fine.

Eh it happens, lol. But seriously try ejecting the disk and re-inserting it. If all aelse fails the dealer should be able to fix it. Only thing that sux is it only happens sometimes but if it's 50% you should have no problem showing the dealer. Good luck.

Had the same exact thing. The dealer has the software to fix it. Just had it done in late August and it has been working fine since. Peace.

Looks like the flash covered up "Great Neck" which would be Va. Beach for sure.

Dang Gforce... you need to post some pictures of that snorkel you've got on your G. Or did you go with the monster tires to float yourself across the water?
