Thanks vt_mav, any idea what a double din setup and aftermarket HU might run me? I am not looking for anything fancy, just a functional unit..that's right I said it, a functional unit, hahaha.

RaFmAn123, I agree, I am not on here every day so I had no idea what was discussed previously, and when my search returned 0 results I thought I would ask, and then I got reamed and abused.

03-04 Double-DIN Finisher - $80
03-04 Double-DIN Bracket - $50
03-04 Double-DIN A/C control - $240
$370 just to prep you for buying a new HU
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you lose your dual-zone climate control if you do this.

Cost of a new HU varies widely based on what you want. Dig around in the A/V section of the forum to get an idea of what people have done.

RaF, there are very few topics on this board that have not been updated since 2004. The CD player is an especially sensitive issue for people who've been on here for awhile. Someone posts the same CD error question literally every other day.

I don't have this problem, so I've never had to search it, which is why I said feel free to correct me.

Yes Search is your friend.

Yes it is a normal response for some one to tell ya to use it for a topic/subject that has many threads over along period of time here on that subject.

Yes is it a normal asumption that you didn't use the search function when starting a thread with the subject title you used.

Yes, here's one of many threads on this subject ( using the search function I might add ) on the 411 you were looking for. In this thread you will also see a comment about how many threads that have been started on this very subject.
>> LOOKEE HERE <<

Yes try search more than once using a different phrase or words as in the example in the link..... hint hint..... head unit.

Yes you need to retake Search 101 ........jk ..........not

And Yes, you need to lighten up and be less sensitive when peeps are responding.

DUDE, how many times do I have to write that I DID use the G DAMNED search function. I also searched using two search strings "CD Err F0" and "Err F0" When that returned ZERO, I SAY again ZERO results, I submitted a post. Enough about using search.

Do administrators usually take time out of their schedule to point out the obvious, especially when that point has been made ad nauseum earlier in the thread? And oh yeah, if you're looking for constructive feedback, the search function on this site absolutely sucks. Yes he should have worked harder to find the right results, but why can't the search engine find the string "CD ER" when it appears in hundreds if not thousands of threads on this site?

Maybe you could use your spare time to troubleshoot the problems with the search engine... j/k... not...
