The Possibility of the OEM LCD?

I like to utilize the OEM LCD with after market double Din unit, so it'll be a clean install and LCD will raise and close just like the OEM NAV screen would. Is this possible? Anyone try it? I really love how the OEM Nav Screen works.

Re: The Possibility of the OEM LCD?

If you don't have the nav, the parts will be VERY expensive, unless you can perhaps find a wrecked G with Nav. There have been posts on installing a different LCD in the stock pocket as well. If you want to use the stock Nav screen, you will need an RGB source, such as the Pioneer gex-p7000tv. Not sure if any DIN DVD players can produce the RGB signal.
