hey i want to install a double din pioneer z1 head unit in my g35 now wat else do i need besides that ? like do i need a new aluminu piece or does the old head unit just come out and the new one just goes right in ? any help is very apprieciated thanks

I can understand the finisher and the bracket....but why do we need to replace our temperature controls? Is it just cause we need the DIN connection that doesnt come on our stock temp controls?

 

Thanks, i needed this info as well. From what i found doing searches, the controls have to be replaced, not sure what the reasoning is but they have to be.

 

The A/C controls and radio share the same board which is the reason the new controls are needed. Unfortunately, this is the most expensive piece of three. However, I've also read that the bracket is NOT needed and that it's already in the car (unless you're doing an upgrade from 03-04 to 05-06). Can anyone confirm this?

 

Is the bracket really necessary for the double din install? I've ordered the finisher and AC controls, should I order the bracket too?

 

you do not need the bracket for 05-06 dd conversions

You don't need the bracket for the 04 model as well. You just need the finisher and a/c controller.
