I've done some searching without much luck.

Equipment: 05 non-premium sound

Problem: Front driver's side mid component sounds like a Kazoo at lower db levels, but unrecognizable at higher db levels. Frequency also impacts severity of problem.

Question: Is there a TSB for these speakers? The car is slightly more than a year old, and while I enjoy listening to the stereo loudly, I never max out the volume or listen to a noticeable distortion.

I have an apt with the dealer in a couple days. Given the reaction they had when I described the problem and setting up the apt, I don't expect to get out of there without them poiting the finger at me, then charging me to fix it. I don't mind eating the cost of a repair when i know it's my fault, but this screams of "faulty equipment" and not user error.

Thoughts?
