Re: Amp Location??

IN the coupe the amp is left of the spare tire. Just remove the spare tire and there are 2 screws that hold the left plastic cover down. Then just slide it out and there you will see the amp. There are an additional 2 screws holding it down. Watch out cause it does get hot.
Everyone is replacing the HU with the double din and getting the A/C controller because the HU is attached to the A/C controller.

Re: Amp Location??

the double din replacement is where you change your stock center console with the a double din unit meaning 2 aftermarket stereos can fit. You can put in a stereo and then add a dvd in there if you'd like. The possiblities are endless. Just do a search for it in this forum and you should find more than enough info on it. search for "double din"

Underneath rear deck in trunk. Amp is on the driver's side.

Re: Amp Location??

I would assume the amp is located in the same place with both stereo options. Take a look under the rear deck and see if you see a 'black box' with a molex plug coming out.

Good luck,
