Subs w/ Amp Install

QUICK QUESTION: I got offered after constant bickering two JL AUDIO W3 's VERSION 2 with an alphasonik 1000 watt amp with double box and install.. for $450 ... I feel its a pretty good deal... I have an appointment tomorrow at 1:30 for the install... but I need your feedback first ... do you think its a good deal?? FEEDBACK WOULD BE AWESOME! THANKS

hello: the retail on 10w3v2 is bout 219, not sure which alphasonik' amp you referring to, but the pma2500 is 500x2 and retail for 680, now i am not sure how you can get those for 450 with box installed! but if you did, make sure they dont use the dual 6 ohm subs, unless you use three of them, do you know if the alphasonik's take line level inputs? cause the G's radio dont have RCA out, so you would need an inline converter(soundgate, PAC, direct), and it could cause BIG problem for the installer, if they have no exprience with an G before...you cant really go wrong with JL's, just need to watch the install process closely...good luck...s.w.

seems like a good deal depending on which amp it exactly is. Make sure you use dual 4 ohm subs for a 4 ohm mono load or dual 2 ohm subs for a 2 ohm mono load. It should sound pretty good.
