installing a LCD Screen

if u want to install an aftermarket in-dash LCD screen (like alpine or something) what would they do to make it fit in the car cause of the way the dash is set up in the G35 coupe?

I'm playing around with the same idea. I just bought the Alpine TME-M580 LCD monitor. I plan on mounting it where the ash tray and emergency flasher button are located. I have ordered a spare "finisher" (that's the dash piece that surounds those pieces and the shift lever. It was only $12 from Jayson at Nissan Wholesale Parts. This way if I screw up the mount, I can return everything to stock look. You can usually find the Alpine TME-M580 on ebay for about $310.
