How accurate are they

When it says 1/2 full is it 10 gal from full?

I think it's pretty close. I burn what shows to be 1/4 tank every. If the gauge wasn't liner, it would not be consistent. I drive the exact same route every day.

Anyone know if it is adjustable?

 

It's pretty innacurate on mine. Sometimes during driving it will fluctuate by 1 hash mark either up or down. It tends to settle at a random spot that's one above or below where I probably actually am everytime I start the car.

Also, the G has a 20 gallon tank, and when I fill up from almost E, it only fills about 17 gallons.

 

3 gallon reserve?

 

i cn only get 15 gallons in mine no wonder the guage is never 100% full
