Does anyone know if the XR series or MB Quart PCE series is any good?

 

Both are quality speakers, but sell for more than your listed figure. I prefer the JL XR speakers, but you must be the judge. Go listen to the speakers in a vehicle at your local stereo shop.

BTW: I have heard nothing but great things about CDT's as well. Look into those as well.

all rainbow products are very good. You cant really go wrong with them. You can only buy them from that site you looked at or from a authorized dealer since they are not found on ebay or any other discount sites so whatever price they are on that site is what you will end up spending.
