Badly needed upgrade

I've been lurking here for a few weeks and have got alot of good info. I'm thinking of going the following route.. Keep in mind I'm on a TIGHT budget and not looking for the best of the best just a decent jump in SQ over the TERRIBLE blose setup. I already put in kappa comps in the doors thinking that it would be adequate...although its a def improvement...its still sucks.

1. Stock HU
2. Kappa components up front
3. 2 Jl audio 8W0 in the rear
4. Kappa 6x9's or 6.5 coax in the rear deck
5. Havent decided which amp(s) to use yet.

Anyone have anything similar or care to comment how this setup would possible sound?

Don't bother replacing the 6x9's. some people, like me, remove them to allow more bass from the trunk to get inside the cabin.

Run 1 10" sub rather than two 8's to save money/room. My suggestion would be an elemental designs 11kv.2 and skip the 6x9's

Thanks for the responses. I decided on my low budget simple "system"

Kappa front comps
Kappa coax in the rear
Phoenix Gold R9 (5ch amp)

Im leaving the 5th channel open until I can afford a 4080 box with a 10w3. I hope it sounds good enough to the point where I wont upgrade.
