alarm question

I plan to purchase an aftermarket alarm for my coupe. I was wondering where I should place the blinking led that comes with the new alarm. Does anyone have pics of their install? What brand do you guys suggest? I was planning on getting the Clifford brand. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: alarm question

Try the clock housing on top of the dash, opposite the clock. Also try center console near gear shift, in a blank plate if you don't have heated seats. Plenty of places, good luck.

Take care,

Re: alarm question

When I had my alarm installed, they actually just used the red light that's already installed in the car. Works with all the functions (blinking 3x for a shock to body panel, etc.), and it's stock. See if you can get them to use it... it's just a LED

Re: alarm question

Good point and you don't have to put any new holes in your G. A good stereo shop should have no problems with using the factory LED.
