'03 Double Din Kit

I want to put a Double Din Dash Kit in my 2003 Coupe so that I can install a Nav/DVD player. However, after looking through the posts I cannot figure out where I can purchase kit like this?

In the 03's front dash is practically one piece (wraps around the sides) so I'm clueless as how make it work.

Thanks!

Brian

Grubbs performance (grubbsperformance.com)
or
Performance Nissan (mynismo.com)

You need the finisher, a/c controls and bracket (most of the time).

I have done a few of these for myself and friends.

Thanks for the help! Does anyone know what people seem to prefer the Pioneer model? It seems other models have better specs (watts... pre-amps ... screen clarity ... etc).

Yea, I think I have my work cut out for me. I see you also have the Eclipse head-unit. That is the one I'm looking at doing. How do you like it? Where are you located? I'd love to check it out or see pics.

Thanks

It will be a long drive for you to go to Phoenix to check out his install.

you don't have to modify anything to do a DD swap. the parts are the JDM parts and screw in perfectly.

To install your new head unit, you will need a Nissan antenna adapter and a Nissan wiring harness adapter. If you want to retain the steering wheel controls, you will need an adapter (PAC SWI-X or radio specific model) and you will need to tap into the stock harness.

I believe that people prefer the Pioneer Z1 b/c it has the navi on the hard drive; supposedly it's the best hard drive one available and the Eclipse offers the best CD navi. just what I've read. I got the Eclipse 5435 and I'm happy with it; also saved me some money compared to the Pioneer.
