$450 is a rip-off. I got my Z1 Double Din with ipod adapter installed for $140. You should definitely shop around.

Sounds like a ripoff. I did my Kenwood DDX-7017 bought the ROEM-NIS from the shop and he didn't charge me extra to install the i-pod interface adaptor. Total came out to 119.50.

That's rape. I did one for almost free for a guy. A shop should charge you 4-5 hours labor max.

I went to tweeters today to get quote to install my DD MAX675VD. The guy told me he installed a DD previously on another Coupe and the Finisher didn't fit properly. He said that there was a gap where the finisher connects to gear shift panel. I told him that this is an official Nissan part but he said it still might not fit. Plus he wouldn't install a video bypass. He was going to charge me $280 w/o bypass. I wasn't confident in him so I told him thank you, have a good day.

Hey Patman

you had a Z1 installed for $140...was that in the sac area?

I am in Sac and am looking for someone to do my install, but I want someone who has a little experience with the G35.

Bay Audio in Rancho Cordova. (916) 857-0670 ask for Tai.

They are a pretty small store, but do good work. They have done at least 3 G35 double din installs that I know of, and all have turned out pretty clean.

If you stop by, don't be scared away by the shop itself...it is not impressive at all, but does not reflect their quality of work.
