My G is only 7 months old and I also have the BOSE system. The CD player does act funny sometimes! I haven't taken it to the dealer yet because it always ends up working in the end. I might take it to the dealer if the problem gets worse though...

I've got an 03 coupe and mine went out about 4 mos. ago. Take it back to the dealer, it's covered under warrenty. But I had to wait till Bose sent my cd's back, they got stuck in the unit.
