DD double din kits in stock at Grubbs

Hey guys, new to the forums, just got my car last week . I just picked up a kit for my car from Riverside. He said they were going pretty fast.

I don't see the the brackets for sale on Chad's site. The bracket is needed for 03/04 applications or not?

I know it is not needed for my 05, not sure about 03/04...

i am new the the car audio/video world but have an '04 G Coupe without navi or bose system. I am thinking of upgrading to a double din in-dash dvd or dvd/navi player. basically i need the double din finisher, a/c control unit and the bracket? also is it possible to keep steering wheel controls? any help and info is greatly appreciated.

Yup, you need the dd finisher, a/c control and bracket. You can keep your steering wheel controls with an adapter.

Can't you just reuse the bracket from the oem deck?

I think on the 05/06 you can. The 03/04 the alignment is a little off.

O crap that means I have to buy a bracket from grubbs then. shoot, I was hoping to save the $60. I have an Eclipse AVN6600 that I have yet to install. Just waiting to get all my parts together before I start on it. I still need an enclosure and a sub. I like those 4080 ones but I think I am going to try to save some cash and build one on our own. My friends and I are the adventurous ones (and cheap =) thanks to the chinese in me). Anyone got a o5/06 bracket or a bracket they bought from grubbs to sell? I bought my finisher and a/c controller from Chad but he doesn't sell the bracket.
