JL 500/5 help

I have it wired up to my stock speakers and a 4080 box with a jl sub. it started acting funny after a few months and i noticed one of the sub wires got frayed while the amp was in the wheel well. now i'm getting static out of the rear speakers and the amplifier orange 'low ohmn' light is on. i can't get the light to turn off. anybody got any advice on how to fix it? i thought it might be because the ohmn ratings of the amp and speakers were different, but it worked fine until this week.

I told the stereo shop where i bought it what happened. they are gonna just exchange it. i would've have paid less online, but i wouldn't have had a warranty.
