Question JL audio 500/5 owners chime in! what components?

ok, so I think i'm ready to upgrade my sound system. i've had everything from 10s to 15s and also touch screen indash dvd player in my previous cars.

i want to go "small" but simple this time around.

i see a lot of people going with JL 1000/1 or 500/1 along with a 450/4 or 350/4 (or whatever that is). Tha's a bit of an overkill for me (power and money wise). that is why i've decided to go with a JL audio 500/5.

i'm definitely staying with my BOSE head unit. i just need some recommendation as to what is a good component system that pairs nicely with this amp (please provide exact model). also i am seriously leaning toward the popular JL 10w6 (just one). as far as components, i've always wanted to get MB Quart. I know that some of you might say that they're highs are a bit extreme, but that's how i actually like it (plus you can always adjust it on the crossover).

so what component and sub wil pair up nicely with the JL Audio 500/5?? I want clear/quality sound and solid bass, nothing crazy (please don't tell me the 500/5 is "weak"). Also my budget is give or take $1000. (amp $500; components $250; sub $150; box $50 ( i know 4080 box is $300+); misc $50). obviously that just gives you an idea of what i had in mind (excluding labor).

Focal is my #1 pic for components.

Also if you change your head unit you will help sound quality a ton.

Oh and I'm one of those 1000/1 & 450/4 guys.

I would go with Focal fronts, Focal coax 6x9's rear and a 10w3 for the sub.
250 watts not enough to run a 10w6.
