If you get an aftermarket stereo, you can retain use of your steering wheel controls with a PAC-SWIX. This is a universal adapter that uses infrared light to control your aftermarket stereo from steering wheel. You would have to program the buttons. Most car installers are familiar with this product and can install it for you. I think their are PAC adapters that are specifically for particular aftermarket stereos that are hardwired. Do a search for PAC.

As for Sirius Satellite, you should be able to keep your antenna if you stay with Sirius. Check with your aftermarket stereo for satellite service that they support.

You can use the antenna but not the reciever, you will need to get the reciever that goes with your double din and connect the antenna and switch radio ID number.
