Navi to Video? Swap out Nav player?

Is there a DVD/Nav player that could be swapped out for the Nav only player in the dash? I would rather not have to go install anothe DVD player somewhere else in my car...Let me kow what you think

Not easily. You HAVE to keep the stock DVD player because it drives the screen directly. All the Navi info is IN the stock DVD player.

would def not be cost effective to do something like that . I thought about possibly relocating the factory nav disk player to the trunk and put the dvd player where the nav goes

It should be possible, but keep in mind that there are about 30 wires on the back of the unit. The RGB-G signal would most likely benefit from using a shielded cable, while most of the other wires could use standard stranded wire.

You may be able to hook up with NavtoGo and see if you can buy just the harnesses. I believe they tap in to both harnesses, so you could hack that up, and leave the OEM wiring untouched.
