I found for 10 bucks a 10 gauge wiring kit. Would it be safe to use that to supply my JL 12w6v2 and JL 500/1 amp to my stock bose radio? Or should i use the 4 gauge amp wiring kit?
JL recommends a minimum of 8 gauge for the 500/1.
If you're running your power from the battery I'd recommend the 4 because of the distance. 8 gauge is ok for a shorter distance with 500 watts. I've got 4 gauge from the battery going to a fused distribution block so I can run 8 for just a few feet to my amps.

Buy the 4 guage kit from here http://www.knukonceptz.com/
8 guage is going to be too small for a 500/1.

www.the12volt.com has a good chart for power cable size.
For 400 watts 8 gauge is good for 8 feet, 600 watts 8 gauge is good for 4 feet.
Get the 4 gauge and make sure you also use 4 gauge for your ground.
