Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

I just wanted to post a link to this diagram I made for the bose stock amp (installed in the trunk driver side) just incase it may help someone out. I don't think it applies to the sedans though. btw my coupe came with the premium audio package

Glad I could help. Nice coupe btw. You should update your profile with some pics of the grill and spoiler you added. I would love to see what it looks like now.

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

Why wouldn't it apply to Sedans? Is it because they don't have amps or is it because the wiring would be different?

Because the sedan uses a single 8" sub-woofer, while the coupe uses a pair of 6"X9" woofers in the rear deck.

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

Thanks for the post. I need to clarify a few things:
1. A-H and 2,3,5, 6 are from amp TO Speakers?
2. I-L are from head unit TO amp?
3. 4: -12 means ground?
4. You listed the colors in positive\negative format?
5. Middle speakers are referring to the rear side speakers?

Anybody know where we can get the other end of the connectors?

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

Sorry for any confusion rdriscoll. The answer to all your questions except 4 is yes. As for question 4, the colors are simply the colors of the wires and do not reflect + or - .Hope ths cleared up any confusion.

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

Using the wiring diagram above, plus some differences I found in my 03 coupe, this is what I put together in visio. I have it as a jpeg and it is a little blurry. This was my setup I just completed, but it doesn't have my two MTX amps and two 10inch Infinity Perfects I just installed.

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

great post, thanks for the time savings. As far as harnesses to avoid cutting, I havn't been able to find any, probably not enough consumer demand to force manufacture. Thanks again.

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

Thanks big time to d3g. This really helped me install my new 5 channel zeus 8000. I used T Taps so I wouldn't have to cut the bose harness and everything works great!!. One thing to note is pin f for the driver door speaker is actually green/silver not gray/silver, and the wires are all listed (-)/(+). Thanks again d3g and bless the G35driver forums!!

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

What side of the car do the power lines for the amp run? Are the speaker wires run along the opposite? Would rather not pull out the molding to the wrong side=). thanks in advance.

Re: Bose AMP Wiring Diagram

Thank you very much jayspr5!!! That diagram was absolutely wonderful. Hopped in the trunk today armed with a printout of your diagram, a Ven4 line converter, wire strippers, a solidering iron, and some shrink tubing. I cringed as I cut the factory wires. Your diagram couldn't have been clearer though. I worked my way from wire to wire.

Finished up the connections to my EQ and amps. Reconnected the negative battery terminal and with a deep breath, turned on the ignition. All was great!! I can finally hear my highs again. I'm sure replacing the tweeters will improve things even more. And I can put in my 10's as soon as I finish up an enclosure for them.

One correction, you list the rear left input colors as "Violet" and "Purple". The wire colors on my car were more of a teal and purple (I tend to think of violet and purple as the same color). So I left purple with purple and made teal the "violet" and it seems to work OK. Is that right?

This diagram should be in the FAQ section!!!
