Hi all,

I am new to this forum and need some help. I am planning to install a factory navi system on my 05 Coupe. I bought a oem navi display unit that goes on top of the radio system right on ebay, it looks like the only thing missing is navi dvd unit and the navi switch. Does anyone know where i can buy those items?? Or am i doing it correctly? What other parts do i need? I know that this has been done before and please help if you have any knowledge of this navi thing. I really need help on this project. Thank you in advance...

there ia a lot more parts to be involved than the computer and the screen, sensors, gps stuff, wiring harnesses...i think someone posted abou thtis before you would need about 2k worth of stuff at the end, and then a LOT of time running new harness and what not througout the car...do a seach on this subject and you sould find the post...

honestly, i dont suggest it, after you spend all this time and money (if yo pay someone else to do it prolly end up spending 3k total if not more), you end up wtih a nav that looks like its from the stoneage compared ot the better in dash units out there...for that kind of money, why not get a Z1, double din adapter and ac controls and put it all in for less and it would work 100 times better

I remember the first guy that did this. He found out it would've been a lot easier, cheaper, and better to go with aftermarket.
