Ipod adapter... is it worth it?

I was wondering if it is worth it to get the PA11-NIS or would it be ok to just get the adapter that takes the RCA plugs. I am not too sure of the name of the other one but I saw it somewhere. I read that the PA11-NIS does NOT show the artist and song name on the HU so if it doesnt wouldnt it be worth it to just get the one that takes the RCA plugs?

The US-Spec unit is the best out there, without buying a new head unit...Rick

I was thinking of either going AAI-NIS or the PA11-NIS what do you think? Is it worth 50 more dollars for the PA11?

Just so you know, there is no adapter that transmits the Song Info. to the HU...

Also the USA Spec has an AUX input (RCAs)

If you want to see whats playing I can suggest to you the Pro Clip....its a tad expensive but well worth it...

That way you can see whats playing on it, at about the same height as the stock HU.

Put it this way, Ive never used the CD player since I got it, great product.

If you have an 05, 06 or 07 G, here is what you should look at:

Having the steering wheel controls alone are worth it. The USA Spec is a great unit. As stated above, I haven't played a CD since I installed it.

The pic above is from my car.

And a really good one too, between your's and Real_G's it made installing my USA Spec a breeze. Thanks for taking the time to post great info for the rest of us who were intimidated by taking apart a $35K car.
