That way you can see whats playing on it, at about the same height as the stock HU.

Put it this way, Ive never used the CD player since I got it, great product.
Here are the links to the proclip shown in the pic above. Please note, the device mount is for a 30 gb video ipod and the vehicle mount is for a 2005 G35. Depending on your ipod and car year you may need different mounts.
