PA11-NIS installation... extra screw?

Ok, so recently I put in a PA11-NIS and just yesterday I noticed that there was an extra screw on my seat. I have been trying to figure out where it goes before I start taking apart stuff. But it is a flat ended screw (the tip of the thread is not pointed) and it is bronze (i guess) in color. It is not one of the dark colored screws. I hope I didnt mess something up but it is really bugging me cause I cant figure out where it goes. I was trying to remember where all the screws go and I have read through that DIY guide on g35ipod.com and I still cant figure it out. Oh also, the passenger side panel (the one with the ciggarette lighter in it) does that have 2 screws holding it on?

Also the light for my clock isnt working anymore... I think that might have just came unplugged though. I am going to have to take a look at it.

I believe that is one of the screws that goes in your trim pieces. I think you must have missed one. I had the same problem when I installed mine, so I unistalled step by step and I found that I missed a scerw somewhere. There should be 2 screws near the driver side panel. (This is for the coupe)

As for the clock you might have forgot to plug it back in, that is if you took it out during your install.

Hope this helps.

there are 5 screws holding in the radio, 2 on each side and one up top, might be one of those, but if the console isnt moving or rattling, dont worry about it

I figured out where it went... it was on the top of the passenger side little panel that has the ciggarette lighter on it. Thank you for the help! Now I just gotta figure out my clock thing. I am in the bay area right now and all my tools are at home so I am gonna wait on that.

that's so funny... I just completed an installation on my mom's 2005, and had the same screw leftover. I'm just going to leave it alone until something rattles
