I've gotten all confused....

Sounds like there are two scenarios.. 1) Cars with SAT already need only one thing 2) Cars without SAT need a few more things...

Is this correct? Someone please list it out.

P.S. jtesensky, I PM'ed ya back

Let me sum up real quick:

the kit (ipod interface box) allows user to make use of the SAT channel to:

1) Play, Charge and Control the IPod using the steering wheel controls with music displayed in the headunit

either AND (which means that IPod will still work disregard whether user has a satellite unit or not as long as he or she has the SAT CHANNEL)

2) Play SAT radio like Sirius/XM normally

Moroever, for non factory pre-wired car, an extra wiring harness is required which is being sold for ~ $56 US.

Time for a GB lol~@!

LOL @ everyone.
I'd like OP to post the part numbers and any other details that he's not passed along as of yet. It would be most helpful.

+1 I've found several similar kits for other nissans (pathfinder, titan, altima, etc.)
Which did you use in your car?

Jtesensky, is there a link or something where I can buy this kit? Not all of us are going to be part of this group buy.

Will the dealer install this? I would hate for them to tell me that my warrany is voided cuz I had someone else do it. My radio has been replaced 2-3 times so I don't wan't to chance it.

It's an iPod kit. I don't think anyone is making kit for any other MP3 player since the iPod is 100x more popular than everything else.

you can still get an aux in adapter, but you wont have control of the device. Still much better that going the FM modulator route.
